Bend, OR – Due to considerable snow falling in the Cascades, the USCSA National Championships for the men's slalom were moved up to Thursday to go along with the women's run, as the Clarkson University Alpine Ski team's men placed sixth in 27-team field at Thunderbird – Mount Bachelor.

A bumpy course made for some extreme changes in times for the field Thursday, though the Golden Knights had a better time keeping their skis than they had on Wednesday as four of the five finished the two runs.

Although Jackson Knobloch and Josh Jusiak did not finish on Wednesday, the two had the top times for the Green and Gold on Thursday. Knobloch was 20th in the field of 142 participants with a time of 1:29.17 and Jusiak was one spot lower in 21st in 1:29.71. Reed Martin ended up with the best combined place in the overall standings for the Knights at 17th, but was 48th in the slalom on Thursday, rounding out Clarkson's team time with a 1:35.21.

Edouard Brochu was 18th after the first run, but his second trip down the hill was 10 seconds slower, dropping him to 59th overall in 1:37.10. Aristotle Ninos did not score as he was disqualified.
