The Series: Clarkson is 15-34 all-time against RIT, last beating the Tigers 9-6 in early 2017. That is RIT's lone loss against Clarkson since joining the Liberty League in 2011-12. The two teams have met in the Liberty League Tournament on four occasions (2012, 2013, 2015, 2017).

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-6, 0-3 Liberty League): With a smattering of random injuries, the Golden Knights have rarely been at full strength in 2024, especially on offense, though the team is hopeful to have a full attack and midfield for the Tigers. Andrew Kearney has stepped up on offense and leads the team in goals with 28, just ahead of Sebastian Geiger (26) and Matt Reilly (25). The Golden Knights have relied on their defense to help them in close games and the trio of goalkeepers Brett Bohlmann, Griffin Emerson, and Eric Gellasch have done well, allowing fewer than 10 goals per game with a save percentage above .500.

Key Stats for RIT (12-1, 3-1 Liberty League): The Tigers boast the third-ranked offense in the country, averaging 18 goals per game thanks to five contests in which they have scored 20 or more. RIT takes care of things early, outscoring opponents 138-54 in the first half. Although the team still easily outscores opponents in the second half (96-69), the gap is significantly less as the Tigers take their foot off the pedal. Clifford Gaston has scored 48 goals this year, with 10 coming on the man-up, and leads the team with 66 points. Jake Erickson also has surpassed 50 points already with 24 goals and 28 assists, while Luke Pilcher has also eclipsed 50 points (33-18-51). As a non-faceoff specialist, Michael Grace has an impressive 59 groundballs.
