The Series: The Golden Knights are just 8-13 all-time against Geneseo, but Clarkson has won four of the past five meetings dating back to 2015, including three straight victories. However, only one of those contests has been decided by more than two goals and two of them went to overtime. The two teams needed three overtimes to settle the 2022 meeting, which Clarkson won 9-8 on a goal from Matt Reilly

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-2): The offense has been led by upperclassmen, with graduate students Sebastian Geiger and Thomas Fiebich unsurprisingly the team's scoring leaders. Geiger has 13 points on 11 goals and two assists while Fiebich has nine points with a goal and eight helpers. Andrew Kearney (7-1-8), Matt Reilly (6-2-8), Alex Seiler (5-1-6), and Tyler Hall (4-2-6) have all chipped in on offense as well. Senior defenseman Matt Szwagulinski is second on the squad in groundballs with 11 and is tied for first in caused turnovers with Mason Volley and Alex Seiler. In the crease, Griffin Emerson has an 8.99 goals against average in three starts, while Eric Gellasch has an 8.12 goals against average in one start and in additional relief time.

Key Stats for SUNY Geneseo (2-2): Clarkson will be the fourth Liberty League opponent that Geneseo has faced when the two teams lock up on Saturday. The Knights have mixed results against the Liberty League, beating Ithaca College 11-10, but falling to nationally-ranked foes Rensselaer (19-11) and St. Lawrence (16-5). Jimmy Atkinson leads the offense with 13 points on seven goals and six assists and Riley Henselder has five goals and five assists for 10 points. BB Syrop is just one win shy of taking more than half of his faceoffs this year and has 20 groundballs. Josh Knapp and Trevor Bollinger are tied for the team lead with six caused turnovers each. Wes Ralph has posted 41 saves and a .494 save percentage thus far.
