CU Men's Lacrosse Preview - at St. Lawrence (4/28)

For the third time in as many games, the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team will be challenged by another top-20 foe, this time in Route 11 rival St. Lawrence University as the two teams will lock up on Wednesday afternoon in Canton, NY.

The Series: St. Lawrence has won 44 of 65 meetings against the Knights, including the six straight games, with Clarkson's last win coming in the 2013 Liberty League Playoffs. In 2019, the two teams' last meeting, St. Lawrence eked out an 11-10 win.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-7, 1-3 Liberty League): Graduate students Pierce Currie and Conor Bartlett rank among the top offensive players in the Liberty League, with Currie placing fourth in goals per game (2.60 gpg) and Bartlett topping the conference leaderboard in assists per game (2.00) and ranking fifth in points per game (3.40). Bartlett has six points on four goals and two assists in three games versus the Saints. Jack Hennessey is second on the team in both goals (15) and points (21), but no player in the league takes more shots at the cage as he averages 8.00 attempts per game. Goalkeeper William Helm is one of the conference's best in the crease as he has posted a save percentage of .573 thus far with an 8.87 goals against average. Brendan Brigham will be tasked with gaining possession on face-offs for the Saints, and he wins 60.7% of his draws and averages just under five groundballs per game.
