Following two straight wins in league play, the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team travels down Route 11 hoping to make it three in a row when the team faces St. Lawrence University on Wednesday evening.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: Clarkson's last win against the Saints came during the 2013 Liberty League playoffs when the Knights won 7-5. Since then, St. Lawrence has improved its record to 43-20-1 against the Green and Gold with five straight wins.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-4, 2-2 Liberty League): Derek Beatty is quietly having a solid all-around season. The junior midfielder has scored five points with three goals and two assists, but also ranks second on the team in caused turnovers and is third on the squad in groundballs with 27, trailing only faceoff man Riley Holzman and goalkeeper Kevin Dyckman. Classmates Conor Bartlett and Pierce Currie rank among the conference leaders in scoring. Bartlett is one of just a handful of player to have reached 40 points already this season (23-17-40), while Currie ranks second in the league in goals per game (2.88) thanks to a big week in which he tallied 10 times over the course of two contests.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (9-1, 2-1 Liberty League): If not for an overtime loss to Ithaca, the Saints would still be unbeaten, and the team is one of four Liberty League squads ranked in the top 20 in the most recent USILA poll. Goalkeeper Alex Terry owns a 5.82 goals against average and is second in the conference in save percentage at .616, helping the Saints to a league-best defense that had allowed just 61 goals in 10 games. Tyler Burns keeps teams from getting at Terry with 21 caused turnovers and 18 groundballs. Mike Donnelly is the team's top scorer with 38 points, having tallied 24 goals and 14 assists. Brian Cunningham (21-5-26) and Conor Caffrey (17-9-26) are knotted up in a tie for second on the squad in scoring.
