Clarkson Baseball Sees Five Named Liberty League All-Stars

Five members of the Clarkson University Baseball team were rewarded for their excellent seasons in 2025 when the Liberty League announced its end-of-year award winners on Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Cam Jerrett and Cole Riskin, juniors Joe Figliolino and Aidan Kuefner, and sophomore Beau Vardion were all named as Liberty League Second-Team All-Stars. It was the first all-star honor in college for all five student-athletes.

Jerrett, a second baseman, led the Golden Knights with 47 hits in his final collegiate season, batting .382/.483/.528, reaching base freely on 25 other occasions via walk or hit by pitch. He slugged 12 extra base hits and drove in 30 runs while scoring 31 more times as the team's starting second baseman.

Riskin was the team's number-one weekend starter throughout the campaign, getting 11 starts and pitching a team-high 51.1 innings while ranking among the conference leaders in strikeouts with 56.

Figliolino, the team's starting catcher, ended up with a .323/.444/.556 slash line for the season, scoring a team-best 39 runs and driving in 30 more thanks to 17 extra base hits, including five home runs. He reached base 68 times with 40 hits, 21 walks, and seven hit by pitch.

Kuefner was a steady centerfielder for the Knights, hitting .295/.336/.403 with a team-best 15 stolen bases. He also scored 34 times, second only to Figliolino, and drove in 22 thanks to nine extra base hits.

Vardion, the team's regular shortstop, had a scorching April and ended up hitting .413/.452/.683 in 18 league games, driving in 21 runs on 26 hits. Overall, Vardion ended up as the team's leading hitter by minor percentage points over Jerrett, batting .382/.431/.657 with 18 extra base hits and 32 RBI.
