Fresh off the reasonably warm weather of Florida, the Clarkson University Baseball team returns to New York and the spring realities of an often shifting schedule, as the Golden Knights begin Liberty League play this Monday at Ithaca College.

The Series: Clarkson salvaged the series last year with a win in game three, while the Bombers swept the group in 2022. In 2021, the Bombers won the last four game series with an odd outcome, winning the first two, losing game three, and then game four ending in a rare baseball tie (called due to darkness).

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-3): The Golden Knights' offense has solid hitters from top to bottom, proven by its regular nine-hitter, CJ Cartier, being tied for the team lead in home runs with two. Grad student Kent Wilson is off to a hot start with 20 hits in his first 46 at bats, twice as many base knocks as anyone else on the team. Wilson has a .435/.449/.587 slash line with 10 runs batted in. Joe Figliolino and Joe Pagano are next with 10 hits apiece, while Pagano has scored 11 times.
