The Series: The last time out against the Saints, Clarkson needed 17 innings to pick up a 3-2 victory at Jack Phillips Stadium, giving the Golden Knights their seventh straight win against St. Lawrence. Kent Wilson delivered a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 17th to end the longest game in Jim Kane's 20-plus seasons as coach for the Golden Knights.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-5, 0-0 Liberty League): The pitching staff struggled against some tough lineups in the early part of the season, but Clarkson's arms have become more consistent since Kyle Locklear returned to the group. Although he has just two appearances and one start, Locklear has struck out 13 in eight innings of work so far and allowed just a .179 average to opponents. Glenn Stever has also been strong in his two recent starts, whiffing 14 in 11 innings. A repeat performance of the 17-inning affair from a few weeks ago could bolster the Clarkson pitchers' numbers, as the Knights struck out 22 and gave up just six hits in St. Lawrence's 64 plate appearances.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (3-3, 0-0 Liberty League): The Saints have won three straight games since their defeat versus Clarkson, scoring 30 runs in those contests, including an 8-6 win over Ithaca on Wednesday. James Cronin leads the team on offense with a .385/.433/.577 slash line with five doubles and 10 runs scored. Nicholas Butler is just behind Cronin at .348/.414/.478 while both Drew Courtwright and Andrew Circelli have driven in eight runs. The St. Lawrence pitching staff has allowed opponents to hit a paltry .231, but the Saints have also dodged some big innings due to free passes. St. Lawrence pitchers have allowed 40 walks in 53.2 innings, including 13 to Clarkson in the 17-inning game and nine to Ithaca. Those two teams combined for just nine runs in 26 innings despite those 22 bases on balls.
