The Series: Despite double digit losses to both Ithaca (59-42) and Union (60-45) back in mid-January, both of those games were close until the fourth quarter. Clarkson trailed by only five early in the fourth against the Bombers and entered the fourth down by eight against Union.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-13, 4-10 Liberty League): Clarkson is one of only two teams that have three players in the top 12 in the Liberty League in scoring. Bella Doyle (11.9 points per game), Raelin Burns (10.8 ppg), and Cassidy Dumont (10.5 ppg) have each contributed to the Golden Knights and taken turns as the top scorer on several occasions. Burns and Dumont have helped the Knights at the free throw line, where the team ranks second in the conference for percentage at 73.3%. Burns recently became just the 14th player in program history to surpass 200 career free throws made and is shooting 83.3% from the line this year with the fourth most makes in the league (60).

Key Stats for Union (12-9, 9-5 Liberty League): Jelena Perovic ranks in the top 10 in the Liberty League in both scoring (13.3 points per game) and rebounding (6.4 rebounds per game) and has three double-doubles in conference play. Jenna Forman is just behind Perovic with 6.2 rpg while also nearly averaging double figures at 9.7 ppg. Kate Peek has made an impact since transferring a mid-semester, producing 7.5 points per contest with 17 3-pointers in just 11 games, which puts her in a tie for third in the latter category despite playing in only half of the team's games in 2024-25.

Key Stats for Ithaca (14-7, 13-1 Liberty League): The Bombers boast probably the most balanced offenses in the Liberty League with only one player averaging double figures but five overall scoring at least eight per game. Annabella Yorio leads the team at 10.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, while graduate transfer Emma Waite is at 9.2 points per game, though that numbers has gone up thanks to 16.3 points per game over the last four contests. Anya Watkins (8.9 ppg), Elizabeth Majka (8.9 ppg), and Zoraida Icabalceta (8.2 ppg) have reached double figures a combined 24 times in 2024-25.
