The Series: William Smith won the first meeting against Clarkson this season by a score of 73-56, behind 18 points from Amelia McCulley and a 16-point, 16-rebound effort from Brooke Jarvis. Raelin Burns (16) and Cassidy Dumont (15) each had solid games offensively for the Knights versus the Herons. Against RIT, Burns and Bella Doyle each tossed in 18 for the Knights, but the Tigers had a significant advantage in rebounds (48-25).

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-15, 2-10 Liberty League): Junior guard Cassidy Dumont is in the top five in the Liberty League in scoring and still has an outside shot at reaching the 1000-point mark for her collegiate career by season's end. On Saturday against Bard, Dumont became the 15th member of Clarkson's 900-point club with a number of other 900-point scorers potentially to be passed in the coming games. Within striking distance to be passed this weekend are Amy Huestis (1996-90) and Michelle Reddinger (2006-10) while Madison Shea (2014-18) and Jen Martin (1999-2003) are names for the final games of the season. Dumont is currently 96 points shy of 1000 for her career and if she makes it to four figures this year, she would become just the fifth player in program history to get to the round number before her senior season.

Key Stats for William Smith (4-15, 4-8 Liberty League): Brooke Jarvis is averaging 16.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while playing just over 27 minutes per contest. No other player for the Herons is averaging more than seven points per game, though Amelia McCulley showed that any player can provide offense for William Smith. McCulley had her season-best of 18 points against the Knights, one of five games where she has reached double figures this year. The Herons' success comes from inside the arc, as the team has made the fewest 3-pointers of any team in the conference (81) with just a 23.6% success rate.

Key Stats for RIT (7-11, 6-5 Liberty League): In the first meeting against Clarkson, Ansley Orrell had the best game of her collegiate career, scoring 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting with five 3-pointers. Outside of that game, Orrell has been in double figures just once this year, a 10-point effort against Bard back in December. That said, there is no true standout scorer for the Tigers since Hanna Durand went down with injury before the start of the second semester. Emma Waite leads the team at 10.6 points per game, while no other player averages more than eight points per game.
