The Knights took home the title of the Adirondack Icebreaker in Lake Placid with a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence.

The Knight remain one of the hottest teams in the country and feature one of the top scoring lines in the nation.  Anne Cherkowski notched her 8th & 9th goals of the season, Darcie Lappan got her 8th of the season to lead the Knights.  

Michelle Pasiechnyk made a season high 25 saves for her 6th win of the season.

Clarkson jumped out to a 2-0 lead, when Cherkowski scored at 7:20 of the first period and Lappan at 2:15 of the 2nd period.  SLU pulled within 1 late in the 2nd, but the Knights absorbed a 3rd period push from SLU and then at 15:01 Cherkowski put the Knights up by 2.

Clarkson was 1 for 2 with the power play and killed off both SLU opportunities with the advantage.  



Next up for the Knights they will head into ECAC play when they host Union and RPI next weekend at Cheel
