Women host RPI on ALS Awareness Night

The Clarkson Women's Hockey team will be hosting an ALS Awareness night on Jan. 21 when they host RPI at Cheel Arena in their first home game of the new year.  The evening will include a raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing with all proceeds going to the ALS Association. Clarkson will look to continue their hot start to 2022, when they swept Princeton and Quinnipiac on the road.  Games at Cornell and Colgate were postponed last weekend and rescheduled for the next two Tuesdays.

Clarkson will return nearly a full line up since the coming back from break.

The Knights are ranked 7th in both national polls and 6th in the Pairwise Rankings.  Clarkson owns the 4th best winning percentage (.841%)in
the country.  The Knights are 8th in the country for Goals scored, 8th nationally in assists, and 8th for team points. Clarkson averages 3.23 goals per game.
Clarkson special teams have gone 14 for 64 on the power play and has killed off 65 of 73 power plays against.

The Knights have out shot their opponents in 21 of their 22 games this season. Clarkson averages 36 shots per game.  Clarkson has held opponents to 20 shots or under on goal
in 9 games this season going 8-1 in those contests

Caitrin Lonergan has reached the 200 career point mark. She leads the Knights in scoring with 12 goals and 21 assists, which is tied for 9th best in the NCAA for total
points. She is 7th in the nation for assists (21). Lonergan was named a Patty Kazmaier Top Ten Finalists in 2021. It was the 2nd time for Lonergan.
