Biography
Jaela Carter joins Clarkson University after a strong 2024–25 season with the Burlington Barracudas in the OWHL U22 AA league. A smooth-skating, puck-moving defender, Carter recorded 3 goals and 9 assists for 12 points across 36 games while maintaining disciplined, poised play in her own zone. She was a key piece on the Barracudas’ back end, trusted in both even-strength and penalty kill situations.
Known for her calm presence under pressure and ability to transition the puck quickly, Carter’s game is built on strong hockey IQ and reliable defensive reads.Carter is expected to bring mobility and depth to Clarkson’s blue line as she begins her NCAA career.
