Eric Venezia is entering his second year as the Golden Knights' Men's Soccer Assistant Coach for the 2018-19 season. Venezia helped Clarkson win eight games and its first Liberty League playoff berth in 2017.

Venezia, a 2017 graduate from the University of Vermont, spent the last four seasons playing for the Division I Catamounts. Vermont reached the NCAA Tournament twice during Venezia's tenure with the team, and he specifically played a key role for the Catamounts during the 2016 season, posting six wins in eight appearances that covered close to 500 minutes. He recorded 19 saves with a 1.44 goals against average and a .704 save percentage during the season.

During his time in Vermont, Venezia also served as a soccer coach for Black Watch Premier (Burlington) Soccer Club and Far Post (Essex Junction) Soccer Club. A native of Tolland, CT, Venezia played both soccer and tennis at the Loomis Chaffee School prior to heading to UVM.
