Jack Dignan

Jack Dignan is entering his second year as assistant coach for the Golden Knights’ Men’s Basketball program for the 2019-20 season.

Dignan spent the previous two years as the assistant coach at Sarah Lawrence College.

A graduate of SUNY Oneonta in May 2016 with a degree in Communication Studies, Dignan was a four-year standout as both a student and as an athlete. A team captain and member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Dignan achieved Dean’s List honors on three occasions and was on the SUNYAC All-Academic team for three years.

As a player, Dignan started 56 of 102 career games, serving as the team’s point guard while also chipping in with 758 career points. He totaled 150 assists as a senior (6.0 apg) against just 66 turnovers, and also added in 41 steals while chipping in 8.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest. Over the course of his four-year career, Dignan had a near two-to-one assist-to-turnover ratio (336-177) and added 151 steals. He also shot 38.6% from beyond the 3-point arc and had a career mark of 76.7% from the free throw line.
