Felix Abongo

Felix Abongo is entering his first full year as the top assistant coach for the Clarkson University Men's Basketball. He served as a volunteer assistant from January 2017 through the 2017-18 season.

Abongo, a 2016 graduate of Clarkson University with a degree in Business, was a standout for the Golden Knights in his four years with the program. He was chosen as a Liberty League First-Team All-Star as a senior, as well as the Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year, and was picked as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star in both his sophomore and junior campaigns after being selected unanimously as a Liberty League All-Rookie Team member in 2012-13. 

Abongo is the only player in program history to rank in the top 10 all-time in scoring (1304 points, 8th all-time), rebounding (678, 7th all-time) and assists (280, 8th all-time). He also is ninth all-time in blocked shots (53). He averaged 12.66 points per game and 6.64 rebounds per game over the course of 103 contests in four seasons with Clarkson.

Prior to stepping in as the top assistant for the men's basketball program, Abongo worked in the Diversity Initiatives department as a program coordinator for student diversity and inclusion programs.Â
