Nolan Driscoll

Nolan Driscoll is entering his second season as the team’s top assistant for the 2017-18. During his first year, the Golden Knights reached the Liberty League Championship round and finished third in the conference with a record of 12-8 (18-18 overall).

Driscoll, a 2015 graduate of Clarkson with a degree in Global Supply Chain Management, spent his first post-graduate year as the assistant coach at Fredonia State.

A former Liberty League All-Academic member, Driscoll spent four seasons playing a utility role for the Golden Knights, spending time at first base, in the outfield and on the mound. The lefty thrower and hitter batted .274 in 270 at bats with three career home runs, 19 extra-base hits and 41 runs batted in. As a senior he hit .278/.379/.392 with two homers and a pair of steals with a .985 fielding percentage. He also didn't allow a run in three appearances and claimed a win in relief. He was one of only three players to appear in all 33 games his senior season and the Golden Knights reached the Liberty League Championship Tournament in each of his last two seasons at Clarkson with a combined record of 43 wins against just 22 losses.
