Ben Moxley is entering his fourth season as top assistant coach for the Golden Knights’ Baseball program for the 2021-22 season. In his first year on staff at Clarkson, he helped guide the Golden Knights to a 23-17 overall record.

A graduate of the College at Brockport in May 2018, Moxley spent the last year there as an assistant coach with the Golden Eagles. Brockport finished with 18 wins an appearance in the SUNYAC Tournament.

Moxley pitched at three different schools over the course of his collegiate career. He began at Herkimer Community College, helping the Generals to 72 wins in two seasons, including a trip to the NJCAA College World Series in 2014 where Herkimer came in third in the nation. That year, Moxley went 5-1 with 46 strikeouts and a 2.41 earned run average in 41 innings pitched. After completing his schooling at the junior college, Moxley then headed to national powerhouse SUNY Cortland, tossing 26.2 innings with a 3-1 record and helping in two shutouts, as the Red Dragons went to the Division III College World Series in 2016. Finally, Moxley spent his last year of eligibility with Brockport, gaining a spot in the weekend rotation. He struck out 37 hitters and picked up three victories in 40 innings of work for the Golden Eagles in 2017.
