Clarkson's Carter Kladstrup Picked Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week

Senior Carter Kladstrup of the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team was chosen as the Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week when the conference office announced its selections on Monday afternoon.

Kladstrup posted a pair of shutouts, his third and fourth of the season, with 1-0 wins over SUNY Canton and RIT this past week, making four saves during the two contests. He lowered his goals against average to 0.20 for the year and is just four minutes shy of opening the year with five straight shutouts. His goals against average is tied for the conference lead, while his four shutouts are also tied for the most in the league. He also has the best save percentage in the conference at .947.

Kladstrup entered the season with the lowest goals against average in program history at 0.65, a number that continues to go down. He also now has 19 career shutouts, tied for second in program history.
