The Field: The Golden Knights secured the third seed in the tournament and went 4-4 against the other four teams, splitting all four doubleheaders. Fourth-seeded Rensselaer and fifth-seeded St. Lawrence University will have to compete early on Thursday to make their way into the Liberty League's double elimination stretch. The Golden Knights open up with second-seeded Ithaca on Thursday, the third game of the day slated to begin at 3:00 pm.

Key Stats for #3 Clarkson (22-13, 10-4 Liberty League): Numerous single-season school records for the Golden Knights in 2025. Devin Fitzpatrick already owns the home run record (14), RBI record (42), and total base mark (90), but is also in line to set a new standard in slugging percentage (.833) and is also one win shy of tying that record of 14 by Olivia Zoeller in 2021. Zoey Kovach tied the single-season doubles mark (14) in the final regular-season doubleheader and Isabel Haspil has taken 18 walks, one more than the previous best in Clarkson's 12-year history.

Key Stats for #1 Rochester (23-11, 11-3 Liberty League): The Yellowjackets ended up gaining the right to host the conference tournament via a tiebreaker against Ithaca College, several spots down the ladder of tiebreaking scenarios. Bailey Nicholoff (.398/.491/.796) and Riley Laygo (.386/.435/.763) have combined for 17 home runs this year for Rochester, and have either scored or driven in 32.4% of the Yellowjackets' runs in 2025. Molly Broccolo is the team's ace with 77 strikeouts in 104.2 innings for a 1.94 earned run average.

Key Stats for #2 Ithaca (25-6, 11-3 Liberty League): Anna Cornell has put up impressive numbers in the circle for the Bombers, posting a 1.12 earned run average with 156 strikeouts in 93.2 innings, while Mady Rowell has been nearly as good with a 1.47 earned run average in 76.1 innings of work. Offensively, the Bombers are led by Cate Murray (.387/.460/.560) and Haley Petrucci (.376/.450/.565). Petrucci's first two slash numbers are nearly identical to last year, but the slugging is down with two home runs in 2025. A year ago, the junior catcher mashed 12 home runs.

Key Stats for #4 Rensselaer (25-9, 9-5 Liberty League): Much like Ithaca, the Engineers lean on their pitching for wins, and it served them well against Clarkson in the first meeting, as RPI pitchers put up a zero in 11 of 12 innings against the Knights. Ava Markert has a 1.94 earned run average and 0.91 WHIP with 65 strikeouts in 97.1 innings while Gaby Heim posted 64 strikeouts in 81.0 innings with a 1.99 earned run average. Callista Adorno is the team's top hitter with a .406/.496/.663 slash line and five home runs.

Key Stats for #5 St. Lawrence (21-15, 5-9 Liberty League): Although the Saints have a relatively modest slugging percentage at .411 with only four home runs, the team knows how to string hits together one offense and use its speed, having swiped 63 bases in 72 tries to score just under six runs per game. Maeve Thompson is hitting a team-best .410, but it is Allison Kloft who has the biggest numbers thanks to a .405 average and 12 extra-base hits which led to 36 runs batted in.
