Barely 10 days after the first doubleheader, the Clarkson University Softball team and SUNY Potsdam will face one another again, this time across town on the campus of SUNY Potsdam on Monday afternoon.

The Series: The March 27th doubleheader proved that momentum is the next game's starting pitcher. Clarkson blasted SUNY Potsdam 9-1 in five innings in the first contest but lost game two 6-0 in seven frames.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-10): Bella Hotchkiss earned her first collegiate win with five strong innings against the Bears the first time out. She allowed just a single earned run on three hits but did not record a strikeout. Devin Fitzpatrick was 2-for-5 in the two contests with three RBI while Kaya Johnson scored three times in the first game. Fitzpatrick is on the cusp of program history with 14 career home runs, one short of tying the school standard by Michele Winn.
