The Series: The Knights have won twice against William Smith in the series, taking low-scoring victories back in 2016 and 2018, but the Herons have won the past six meetings. Clarkson has never beaten Ithaca in the seven meetings since the Bombers joined the Liberty League.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-3, 1-2 Liberty League): Cue the broken record: graduate student Madelynn Barnum is approaching another program all-time mark. Clarkson's all-time leader in goals (226), draw controls (336, nearly twice the second figure in program history), and caused turnovers (93), Barnum moved in to second on the all-time scoring list recently and is within shouting distance of Christine Wright's 287 career points (2013-2016). The most impressive part about the points figure is that Barnum does not do much in distribution, as she has only 41 assists in her career compared to the 126 from Wright and the 80 by Alyssa Cristaldi (262 points, 2010-2013).

Key Stats for Ithaca (5-3, 2-1 Liberty League): While Barnum leads the conference in goals per game this year, Lily Cody of Ithaca isn't too far behind, producing 3.25 goals per contest with a total of 35 points (26-9-35) for the year to go along with 41 draw controls. Elizabeth Green has also netted 20 goals for the Bombers as well as contributing 20 groundballs. Leigh Naturale has a consistent stat line for Ithaca, netting 20 total points on nine goals and 11 assists with 12 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers.

Key Stats for William Smith (6-3, 3-0 Liberty League): Three-time All-American Maura Smeader is producing another excellent season in the crease for the Herons. She leads the conference in goals allowed average (7.67) and save percentage (.524) among goalies who have played at least 300 minutes this season. Offensively, Katherine Murray leads the way with six games of five points or better, putting together 37 points on 26 goals and 11 assists. Natalie Daniels has been impressive in limited time, recording 20 points and 63 draw controls in only six games played.
