The Series: Plattsburgh won both of the games a year ago in late-season doubleheader, but the two teams split in both 2023 and 2021.

Key Stats for Clarkson (14-11): The Golden Knights caught the barrel plenty of time last week, racking up 23 extra-base hits in six games, including 13 doubles, three triples, and seven home runs. Devin Fitzpatrick had eight of those extra-base hits with four doubles and four home runs, but the hottest hitter for the Knights continues to be Lexi Rydelek, who blasted three home runs and batted nearly .500 for the week. Her two home runs and four RBI in game two against University of Rochester accounted for all of the runs in the Knights' victory. By the end of the Florida trip, Rydelek was hitting .200, but since the return to colder climates, she is batting .500 (15-for-30) with 10 runs batted in.

Key Stats for Plattsburgh State (5-12): The Cardinals have yet to show much in the way of in-game power, as the team has no home runs and just one triple in 17 games. Plattsburgh does have the ability to string hits together, however, with four players hitting .320 or better. Megan Pillus leads the team at .358/.382/.434, though Gwen Noll gets on the most, reaching base at a .450 clip to go along with a team-best 13 stolen bases. Carly Gemmett has struck out opposing hitters at an impressive rate this year, fanning 83 in 53.2 innings and allowing just a .203 batting average. Gemmett can get into a bit of trouble with bouts of wildness, having allowed 31 walks.
