The Series: Clarkson won the first game against the Saints in mid-November, one of the earliest conference games in program history. Back on November 16th, The Golden Knights limited St. Lawrence's offense to only 37 points, giving up only four offensive rebounds while watching the Saints make just three of 20 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-4, 2-1 Liberty League): Sophomore Braeden Burns has shrugged off a slow start and played well over his past six contests. To start the year, Burns was shooting only 26.0% from the floor and averaging just 9.5 points per game in the first four games, but over the last six he is shooting 54.7% from the field and putting up 16.2 points per game. Clarkson is back at close to full strength with Matteo Sinon returning from nearly a year long injury. He scored nine points in only 10 minutes of his 2024-25 debut against Alfred State on December 17th. Steve DeRegis (12.9 ppg), Jack Dalgety (11.7 ppg), and Finn Cork (11.0 ppg) also average double figures for Clarkson.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (7-2, 1-2 Liberty League): The formula for the Saints didn't work against Clarkson the first time around because the Saints couldn't keep pace on offense. St. Lawrence relies on its defense for wins, as the team ranks first in the nation in field goal defense (32.6%), second in scoring defense (52.7 ppg), and in the top 10 in 3-point field goal defense (25.2%) while the advanced metrics of effective field goal percentage and true shooting percentage on the defensive side of the ball mirror those numbers. Adam Dudzinski is the lone player scoring in double figures for St. Lawrence, producing 16.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Dan Anderson (8.6 ppg) is the only other player averaging more than six points per contest.
