Clarkson welcomes 2025 with top two teams in ECAC

The Golden Knights return to the ice in 2025 by hosting what will be the most difficult test of the season to date.  Cornell sits in 2nd place in the ECAC and ranked just behind the Knights nationally at #7.  Colgate comes into the weekend in first place in the ECAC and ranked just ahead of the Knights at #5.  Clarkson is .5 points behind the Big Red in the standings and 2 points behind the Raiders.

Clarkson is one of the top scoring teams in the nation, led by Anne Cherkowski and Haley Winn with 27 points each.  The Knights have four skaters with 20+ points and 10 skaters with double digits in points.  While the Knights are able to produce points, they are one of the top teams for preventing goals.  Sidney Fess was named the ECAC Defender of the Month and Julia Minotti continues to provide great goaltending with her 1.36 GAA, good for 5th best in the nation.

This weekend's games will be free admission for all fans to encourage the community to come out and see two national top 10 match-ups.   The games can also be streamed on ESPN+.
