The Series: Last season, the Golden Knights split their two games against RIT winning in overtime and falling in regulation in two opposite contests. The overtime game saw both teams top 90 points while the other was a 67-57 decision for the Tigers. Hobart won both games against Clarkson last season, surviving for a two-point victory and winning the other contest by 20.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-7, 4-4 Liberty League): The Golden Knights' offense has been slowed recently, scoring 63.8 points per game in its last four league contests. In the three games that Clarkson has made 10 or more 3-pointers, the squad is unbeaten, so Steve DeRegis's value cannot be understated. The sharpshooter leads the conference in 3-pointers made with 41, but he has shot just 5-for-28 from beyond the 3-point arc in the last four contests. On the interior, the Knights look to get Finn Cork involved more as well. Cork led the conference in field goal percentage for much of the season, but is two makes shy of qualifying for the league lead.

Key Stats for RIT (6-8, 2-5 Liberty League): The Tigers are a veteran team and lean on those players. Kenny Wilburn, who had a 25-point game against the Knights in RIT's overtime loss a year ago, leads the squad in scoring at 13.4 points per game to go along with 7.1 rebounds. Chase Dickens, who had 19 in the team's win against Clarkson last season, is next at 13.1 ppg. Matt Caggiano ranks second in the conference in assists per game (5.3). RIT looks to outscore opponents since the team ranks dead last in the conference in scoring defense (77.6 ppg).

Key Stats for Hobart (11-4, 5-3 Liberty League): The Statesmen got a boost when Pat Healy returned in early December, and he leads the team in scoring average at 12.4 points per game, albeit in just eight games. Hobart has won six of the last seven games, with the one defeat coming by just a single point. Alex Moesch (11.7 ppg) leads the conference in 3-point field goal percentage at 41.3% while Aidan Rodgers (10.1 ppg, 3.5 apg) and Carter Meshanic (9.7 ppg, 8.2 rpg) also contribute. Hobart plays somewhat deliberately as its 69.6 points per game is in the middle of the pack in the league, though the Statesmen have the top figures in field goal percentage (44.1%) and 3-point field goal percentage (36.4%).
