The Series: "Finally!" was the quote from a Rochester player exiting the field back in 2011 when the Yellowjackets scored in double overtime. It ended a streak of three straight years of scoreless ties (and almost a fourth) between the two teams. Oddly enough, that was the result the last time the two teams met in 2014. Rochester holds a 27-13-6 lead in the all-time series and is 3-0-4 in the last seven games.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-0-2): Although the team is not off to as impressive a start as 2022 when it opened the year with seven consecutive shutouts, the Golden Knights' defense has been up to task for most of 2024. Clarkson has allowed just three goals and ranks in the top 30 nationally in scoring defense. Carter Kladstrup ranks in the top 50 in both save percentage (.864) and goals against average (0.50). Zach Shufelt and Daniel Medina each scored goals on Wednesday against SUNY Canton, and have combined for five goals and 12 points this fall.

Key Stats for Rochester (4-1-1): After dropping the opener of the 2024 season, Rochester has rattled off five straight shutouts. Santino Tondo-Lupica has made 21 saves for a .913 save percentage and 0.33 goals against average, figures that rank him in the top 15 in the country for goalkeepers. Rochester's team defense has the Yellowjackets ranked in a tie for 11th in goals against average (0.33). Johnny Makula is the team's leading scorer (3-1-7) on only six shots, though Kamal Ibrahim is probably the top offensive weapon, having taken 18 shots with six points (2-2-6).
