The Series: The Golden Knights are just 4-17 all-time against Rochester, having lost seven straight since they took the opener of the 2021 four-game series. Clarkson has won 14 consecutive games against RIT and is 16-6 all-time versus the Tigers.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-11, 1-1 Liberty League): On Tuesday, junior Devin Fitzpatrick homered in her third straight doubleheader since the team returned from Florida, giving her six on the season and placing her in tie for second in the Liberty League. Her six home runs are just one short of the Clarkson program record, a span of 10 seasons prior to 2024. Fitzpatrick ranks fourth in the conference in slugging and is tied for fourth in doubles. She also has 75 strikeouts, which puts her in the top 40 nationally, while her 7.5-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio is 31st nationally.

Key Stats for Rochester (14-6, 1-1 Liberty League): Rochester's pitching staff has put up solid numbers, posting a 1.80 earned run average with eight shutouts and allowing hitters to bat just .230 in 120.1 innings. Lauren Keys (1.70 ERA), Molly Broccolo (1.80 ERA), and Maddie White (2.07 ERA) have all pitched at least 27 innings this year, creating a formidable rotation. Offensively, Riley Laygo is hitting .456/.465/.853, with her slugging percentage placing her third in the conference. She ranks first in runs scored (25), tied for second in stolen bases (8), and third in runs batted in (23).

Key Stats for RIT (7-10-1, 1-1 Liberty League): Jessica Majot has been tough on hitters for the Tigers this year, allowing opponents a .172 average in 42 innings. She has struck out 29 and given up just 25 hits, though she has had bouts of wildness with 23 walks. Offensively, regulars Maddy Cook (.328/.328/.414) and Lillian Rienstra (.321/.339/.357) have the best numbers, but the top two bats are just short of qualifying for team leading status. Maria Minemier is hitting .500/.559/.700 in 34 plate appearances while Kathryn Baretela is batting .483/.545/.966 in 33 plate appearances. That .966 slugging percentage would rank second in the conference with the requisite times at bat.
