After 65 minutes of hockey in front of a capacity crowd on Wednesday, the Rt. 11 rivalry will shift to Cheel Arena on Saturday as the two teams will continue the battle left from mid week.  

Clarkson and SLU both saw a season low in shots taken, a product of the physical play and great team defense from both squads.  

Clarkson has seen strong production from many areas of the line up, helping take some of the pressure off of their top D pair of Winn and Gosling.  Julia Minotti has been very strong in net over the last 3 starts, including only allowing the 1 goal on Wednesday, and as a goaltending tandem they 3rd in the nation for shutouts with 5.  Minotti has 3 and Gruber has 2. 

The Knights have out shot their opponents in 12 of 13 games this season and only allowed more than 20 shots on 4 occasions.  Anne Cherkowski is heating up, she has 5 goals in her last 7 games and 10 points in the last 6.  Haley Winn is the 4th in the Nation for points per game with 1.60 average for a total of 16 points and tied for 3rd in the nation for assists with 12.

The Knights wear teams down, they have scored 11 goals in the first, 14 in the second, then 31 goals in the final frame. 

Clarkson has the top power play in the nation scoring at 42.4% clip with the advantage and is the 4th highest scoring team in the nation, with 57 goals.  The Knights are 4th in the nation with 151 total team points.

These non league set of games do not count in the ECAC standings, so points are not at steak in league play.
