The Series: The Saints won both games against Clarkson a year ago, winning the first by seven points and the second thanks to a last second layup by Trey Syroka (73-72). The 72 points in the second meeting were the most points that St. Lawrence allowed in 2023-24, and the 66 points in the first meeting tied for the fourth most points allowed by the Saints.

Key Stats for Clarkson (1-2): The Knights have been able to score in spurts in their first three games, but have yet to find a steady scorer. That has, however, put Clarkson in an early spot where five players are averaging double figures. Sophomore Steve DeRegis is the team leader at 12.3 points per game, while Finn Cork, Jack Dalgety, and Matthew Parent are each averaging 11 per game and Braeden Burns is one point short of that at 10.7 ppg. Burns was tough against St. Lawrence a year ago, averaging 22 points and six rebounds per contest.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (1-0): For those that enjoy defense, St. Lawrence is the team to watch. The Saints led NCAA Division III a year ago in field goal percentage allowed (34.5%), were fourth in points allowed per game (57.27 ppg), and 12th in opponents' 3-point field goal percentage (28.8%). Had it not been for Clarkson, the Saints would have been just percentage points off the national lead in that category as well. Little has changed from the season-opener's results, as the Saints held Oswego State to just 44 points on 15-for-59 shooting (25.4%) and 4-for-29 shooting (13.8%) from the 3-point arc.
