Riding its second three-game winning streak of the season, the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team looks to remain unbeaten in the Liberty League when the team takes on St. Lawrence University on Wednesday night in Canton.

The Series: Although St. Lawrence went 13-5 last year in the Liberty League, the Golden Knights were the one team that the Saints could not seem to get past. Clarkson won both contests in 2022-23 by a combined seven points.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-1, 2-0 Liberty League): Off to a flawless start in the first conference weekend on the road, the Golden Knights have one more road challenge before finals start. The Golden Knights probably aren't looking forward to the break, as the team has averaged 81.7 points per game, the top figure in the Liberty League. All five starters rank in the top 25 in the Liberty League in scoring, and each is averaging double figures. Ryan Miles-Ferguson has shrugged off a slow start to the season and is now averaging 18.7 points per game. The graduate student was shooting 36.2% in the first four games of the year, but has been lights out in the last three, shooting 58.5% from the field which includes 11 3-pointers in 20 attempts (55.0%).

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (4-3, 1-1 Liberty League): The Saints have one of the top defenses in the conference, allowing opponents just 62 points per game (second fewest) and a success rate of 34.2% from the field (first in the conference). Adam Dudzinski ranks 10th in the conference in scoring at 15.3 points per game and is shooting 47.1% from the field. Dudzinski has been even better from long range, making 55.9% of his 3-point attempts (19-for-34). Trey Syroka contributes all around with 8.4 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.6 steals per game, with the latter figure the top number in the league. Gavin Macaulay is also averaging double figures with 10.3 points per contest.
