Clarkson would get goals in each period and again hold a team to under 20 shots in their 4-1 win over Union this afternoon in Schenectady. Petrie,
Brooke McQuigge, Winn, and Gosling would all contribute 2 points and
Julia Minottii would make 16 saves for her 3rd win of the season.
In the 2nd period the Knights would go on the power play at 9:03 and shortly after, at 9:28
Brooke McQuigge would deflect a
Haley Winn shot for her third of the season. Union's Riley Walsh would make it 2-1 heading into the 2nd intermission.
Clarkson would get the only goals in the final frame, when
Dominique Petrie would score just :19 seconds int and
Nicole Gosling would get her 4th on the season when she made it 4-1.
Clarkson out shot Union, 35-17. The Knights were 2 for 3 on the power play and killed off both Union Chances.
With the win, Clarkson moves to 3-0 in ECAC play and 10-0-1 on the season. Clarkson will travel to Troy tomorrow afternoon for a 3:00 pm puck drop with the Engineers.
