The Series: Clarkson and Buff State have played just once before, but it took two dates to do it. Last year's first potential meeting was wiped out due to a major snowstorm in Buffalo in November, but the two teams were able to play in early January, with the Golden Knights coming away with a 74-65 victory behind a 17-points, 13-rebound effort from Bella Doyle.

Key Stats for Clarkson (1-2): Although junior guard Cassidy Dumont still leads the team in scoring at 17.3 points per contest, just a few percentage points below last year's figure, she is also finding her teammates at twice the rate. In three games, she has averaged 3.7 assists per game, more than double her 1.65 assists per contest last season. Bella Doyle has increased her production, averaging 16.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, while Raelin Burns is also chipping 15 points per contest. First-year collegian Addie Kea has produced across the board with 6.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.3 steals per contest.

Key Stats for Buffalo State (2-2): The Bengals enter the game allowing just 49.3 points per game, with opponents shooting only 27.2% from the floor. Tashawni Cornfield leads the team in scoring despite playing less than 20 minutes per contest, averaging 14.8 points per game on 41.8% shooting. In fact, she has taken 55 shots in just 77 minutes on the floor, accounting for 22.9% of the team's field goal attempts despite playing only 9.6% of the minutes. Graduate student Maddy Stearns is also averaging 11.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.
