A lot has yet to be decided in terms of playoff spots and positioning, and one of the key games on the docket in the Liberty League this week is Tuesday's tilt between the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team and St. Lawrence University.

The Series: Clarkson has won only five of the 39 meetings against St. Lawrence since the Golden Knights' program debuted in 1982, but the Green and Gold are 3-1-2 since 2016. Clarkson has won the past two games by the score of 2-1. Last year's game was decided on a header from Emily Davis off a corner kick in the final 20 minutes of the second half.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-4-2, 3-4-0 Liberty League): The Golden Knights have prided themselves on their strong starts this year, outshooting opponents 124-46 in the first 45 minutes of games in 2023. More impressively, the Knights have not allowed a single goal in the first half all season, and have still outscored opponents 15-9 in the second half. Molly DiCaprio has some of the best numbers among goalkeepers in the Liberty League with a 0.55 goals against average, an .855 save percentage, and 54 saves overall.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (7-4-4, 3-2-2 Liberty League): The most accomplished goal scorers for the Saints are reserves. Zoe Rogan leads the team in scoring, but has yet to make a start in the team's 15 games, having produced nine points on four goals and an assist. Both Emma Reynolds and Lilly Stone have scored two goals each without the benefit of a starting nod. Lily Pleau also has five points, with her lone assist coming when she was starting early in the season, but both of her goals have come with her as a substitute.
