The Series: In one of the lower scoring games of the season, Clarkson held on for a 54-49 victory against the Saints on December 7th, thanks to a standout performance from Jack Dalgety. The sophomore scored 21 points and snagged 15 rebounds in the win.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-9, 3-7 Liberty League): Senior Blake Gearhart has played well as of late, shooting 52.6% from the floor and averaging 16.8 points per game over his last five contests. In the previous four games, he had averaged just 4.8 ppg. Classmate Ryan Miles-Ferguson is tossing in 15.9 points per contest. Clarkson will need to tighten up its long-range shooting against the Saints, as the team had its worst performance of the year from the 3-point line back in December, both in the way of volume (only four 3-pointers made) and percentage (16.7%).

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (11-6, 7-4 Liberty League): The Saints have one of the better defenses in the Liberty League, ranking second in points allowed as well as field goal defense. That defense extends to the 3-point line, too, as opponents are shooting just 29.5% from the arc. In the first meeting, St. Lawrence held Clarkson to just 4-for-24 shooting from distance. Trent Adamson leads the team in scoring at 13.2 points per game while also adding in 6.8 rebounds per contest. Gavin Macaulay and Aidan Macaulay are averaging 9.5 ppg and 8.6 ppg, respectively. St. Lawrence also had the largest turnover margin in the conference forcing 3.2 more turnovers than they commit per game.
