The Clarkson Women's Hockey team will look to extend their 3-game win streak against their cross-county rival, St. Lawrence this evening over at Appleton Arena.
The Knights come into the game with 24 league points which is good for 5th place, ranked 9th and 10th in the major national polls. St. Lawrence comes into the game losing 2 straight and in 6th place 7.5 points behind the Knights.Â
The 7-0 win last Saturday at Union helped keep the Knights in the mix for all major offensive categories nationally. Coming into the weekend Clarkson is:
• 9th in the country for Goals scored (83)
• 7th nationally in assists (143)
• 8th for team points (226)
• 2nd in the nation for team shutouts (8)
• Clarkson is averaging 3.2 goals per game.
 The Knights have out shot their opponents in 17 of their 25 games and have allowed 20 shots or less in 13 games this season. Clarkson allowed a combined 19 shots last weekend. Sr.
Gabrielle David has 16 goals and 21 assists on the season and became the 17th Golden Knight to eclipse 100 career points. Gab is tied for 4th in the nation in points (38).Â
Darcie Lappan is 10th in the national lead in points
(33) and 9th in the nation for assists (21). Clarkson is 10-1 when David or Cherkowski score and 9-1 when Lappan scores.
