Looking for its first win in conference games this season, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team heads to Rochester this Saturday to take on RIT in a Liberty League matchup.

The Series: Clarkson has won seven times in 38 meetings against the Tigers while also tying on three occasions. That was the case a year ago when the two teams fought to a double-overtime 1-1 draw. 

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-3-1, 0-2-0 Liberty League): Although Clarkson's offense has been quieted in recent games, the Knights are still getting opportunities. The Golden Knights have lost three straight, including two conference contests, but have outshot their opponents 44-23 in that span, including a 17-11 edge in shots on goal. Only Sarah Kohls has been able to find the back of the net for the Knights in the past two weeks, scoring in a non-league game against Oswego State. Clarkson's defense remains solid, having allowed only seven goals in eight games. In nine starts, Molly DiCaprio has 30 saves with a 0.80 goals against average and .811 save percentage.

Key Stats for RIT (5-2-1, 0-2-0 Liberty League): Like Clarkson, the Tigers started off strong but have struggled as of late. RIT began the year with a 5-0 record but are just 0-2-1 since. The Tigers also have a good defense, giving up just six goals in eight contests, and getting just enough offense to get by for victories. Sam Halligan has served as the team's top play maker, with five assists on the year to help her sit atop the Tigers' scoring chart with seven points. Maddy Bullis has five points on two goals and an assist and Christine Cataldo-Smith also has five points with a goal and three assists, though she has missed the last two contests. Darcie Jones has 18 saves in 810 minutes, posting a 0.76 goals against average and .750 save percentage.
