Faced with the loss of their #1 goalie, the Golden Knights came out hard in the first period but Quinnipiac goalie Corinne Schroeder shut the door at every turn and the Bobcats eliminated Clarkson in two games with a 4-0 win.  

Amanda Zeglen made 19 saves and played well for the Knights.  Clarkson out shot Quinnipiac 39 to 23 which included over 3 minutes of extra attacker time. 

For the Knights they will continue to practice and wait for the NCAA selection show.  This season the NCAA will select 11 teams to participate in the tournament.  Each qualifying conference will get an automatic bid, so Clarkson will need teams already ranked ahead of them to win their league's auto bid and relay on the 4 other ECAC teams to help keep them ranked in the 10 spot or higher in the Pairwise rankings.
