Clarkson got scoring from some familiar sources and some new ones as they downed Brown 8-1 today in Providence, RI.

In the first period, Brown took the lead, but then Haley Winn got her first of two goals and the rout was on.  Kirstyn McQuigge got a goal on the power play, then Laurence Frenette and Gabrielle David finished the period for the Knights.

Andie Proulx and Gretchen Branton scored in the third period, each recording their first goals as Golden Knights.

Clarkson out shot the Bears, 40 to 24.  

The Knights sit in third place after the weekend and will look to secure home ice in the quarterfinals as they host Colgate and Cornell at Cheel next weekend.
