Clarkson was able to complete the weekend sweep of ECAC games and head into Exams with a great finish to the fall semester after a 5-0 win over Dartmouth this afternoon at Cheel Arena.

Paced by a natural Hat Trick by Gabrielle David and the shut down goaltending of Michelle Pasiechnyk the Knights were in control from puck drop to the final buzzer. 

Anne Cherkowski started the scoring at 2:33 of the first period on the power play when she was able to convert a feed from Stephanie Markowski and Nicole Gosling.  Olivia Hanson made it 2-0 at the 11:50 mark of the first when her point shot found it's way to the back of the net.  Cherkowski and Darcie Lappan would assist on her goal. 

The second period would be the Gabrielle David show, as the Sr. would get a shorthanded breakaway goal at 5:43 and then another breakaway goal at 16:38 when Pasiechnyk cleared the puck to Gosling who thread the needle to Gab.

The third period would see David complete the royal hat trick of a Power Play, Even Strength, & Short handed goal.  Gab scored just :33 seconds into the period to put the Knights up 5-0.  
 

The Knights held a decisive shot advantage all game long, finishing with 53 shots and 14 against, Pasiechnyk would save all 14 for her 13th win of the season and NCAA leading 7th shut out. 
 

Clarkson will have some time off before they return to Cheel on Jan 6 & 7 when they host Yale and Brown.
