Clarkson set to take on #5 Quinnipiac

The Clarkson Women's Hockey team will face another tough road weekend with two ranked opponents.  Tonight, they will face #5 Quinnipiac, who knocked them out of the ECAC playoffs last season.  The Bobcats are 10-1 on the heels of a split last weekend (loss to Yale and win over Brown)

Clarkson enters the weekend after 2 game sweep of St. Lawrence in which Darcie Lappan added to her national lead in points and Michelle Pasiechnyk gained her NCAA leading 5th shutout of the year.  Lappan was named the ECAC Forward of the Week.

The Knights will be without D, Haley Winn, who is still skating with Team USA in the Rivalry Series against Canada.  The US holds a 2 game lead in the series with wins Tueday and Thursday over the Canadians.  Clarkson has 7 alums skating in the event in addition to Winn.
