The Series: The Golden Knights have just seven wins over Rochester in 50 all-time meetings, but all but five of those games occurred before 1990. The last three games (over the past 15 seasons) have all been within four points. Clarkson's last win came in 2009-10, a 66-63 overtime victory.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-2): The Golden Knights certainly like to get up and down the floor, averaging 95.0 points per game and topping 100 twice this year in four contests. Opponents are making more free throws (75) than Clarkson has even attempted (53), but the Knights are pleased with their trade off by making 61 3-pointers (183 points) compared to 27 makes by opponents (81 points). Clarkson is shooting 41.2% from beyond the 3-point arc as a team, with Jason Phelps (11-for-22) and Blake Gearhart (10-for-18) shooting better than 50 percent. Four different players have led Clarkson in scoring through four games. The Knights also distribute the ball well with 23.3 assists per contest.

Key Stats for Rochester (1-2): The Yellowjackets are a forward-driven team, led by 6-10 senior Ryan Algier, who is averaging 20.3 points per game and shooting 57.5% from the floor in just 23.3 minutes per game. Algier, however, has had trouble staying in games by fouling out twice in three contests. Junior forward Brian Amabilino Perez is averaging 10.0 points per game and sophomore forward CJ Amsellem is chipping in 8.0 points on 52.6% shooting in just 16 minutes per contest. Kailan Lee is the team's top guard, averaging 12.0 points per contest. Rochester takes 26.7 3-pointers per game, but is making just 31.3% of their attempts.
