The Series: Ever since the second game of the 2015 doubleheader was snowed out after just getting underway, the Golden Knights have dominated the series against Potsdam. Clarkson split its first doubleheader against the Bears in 2014 and lost the opener of the twin bill in 2015, but the Green and Gold are 8-0 in four doubleheaders from 2016-2019.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-2): Junior Olivia Zoeller may have a .500 record at 1-1, but she has solidified her ace status among hurlers in the Liberty League, striking out 25 hitters in 13.2 innings of work in 2021. She has a 0.80 WHIP and a 0.51 earned run average in two starts, both complete games and one a five-inning no-hitter against St. Lawrence. On offense, a trio of juniors are batting better than .400 through the first two dates, with Kayla Robert 8-for-12 (.667) and seven runs batted in during the first four games. Maddie Brink is hitting .462 (6-for-13) and Sarah Vaccaro is batting .429 (6-for-14) with a team-best six runs scored.

Key Stats for SUNY Potsdam (0-0): The Bears began the 2020 season with two wins in eight games before the season was halted. Megan Fish is back for a fifth season and will look to continue the success she had in her senior season when she posted a 1.58 earned run average with nine strikeouts in 17.2 innings. Over the previous three seasons, Fish had struck out 75 in 227.2 innings of work. She also hit .378 with 10 extra-base hits and 28 runs batted in during the 2019 season. Adding to the offense are Morgan Brown (.429 over seven games in 2020), Sydney Miller (.269 with two home runs and 17 RBI in 2019) and Anna Grottola (.320 over seven games in 2020).
