The Series: Clarkson is 9-3 all-time against the Kangaroos, having won three of the past four meetings. However, SUNY Canton won 60-52 last year, holding the Knights to just 27.8% shooting overall and a 9-for-35 effort from the 3-point arc.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-3): The Golden Knights are a different team offensively when at home, as the team is averaging over 100 points per game on its home court and shooting 43.2% (48-for-111) from beyond the 3-point arc. Clarkson has done everything better at home, committing 12 turnovers per game compared to 16.6 per game on the road and shooting 52.8% in Alumni Gym compared to 43.8% away from Potsdam. Jason Phelps (19.3 points per game) and Chris Hulbert (19.0 points per game) also average well above their season averages (13.6 ppg and 15.8 ppg, respectively). Blake Gearhart also is averaging better than 13 points per game, with less pronounced home and away splits.

Key Stats for SUNY Canton (16-12 in 2019-20): The Kangaroos' season has been delayed a few times, but Canton opened up with an exhibition game win over Wells last week. The Roos return several standouts from last year's NCAA Tournament team, including Danny Santana (14.3 points per game), Quran DuBois (13.3 points per game) and 7-1 forward Andrew Fitch, who averaged 8.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest as well as 91 blocked shots, one of the top figures in all of NCAA Division III in 2019-20. Fitch was a force in the exhibition win over Wells on Friday, scoring 14 points, grabbing 16 rebounds, and blocking three shots.
