Clarkson relied on continued pressure all game long to finally breakthrough at 11:11 of the third period when Brooke McQuigge scored the games lone goal to give Clarkson a weekend sweep of all possible 6 league points.  

Clarkson took 22 shots over the first two periods and that sustained pressure allowed for McQuigge to get her 3rd of the season from Caitrin Lonergan and Olivia Hanson.  Michelle Pasiechnyk made 20 saves for her first shut out of the season.  This is the 9th game out of 10 in which the Knights out shot their opponent.

Both teams were unable to capitalize on 3 power play chances each.
