Clarkson takes on Quinnipiac

The Clarkson Golden Knights are on the road this weekend for two games against Quinnipiac. Clarkson is looking for their first league points on the season after dropping two games to Colgate to open ECAC play.

Clarkson had a mid week non conference game with North Country rival, St. Lawrence. The Knights jumped out to an early 3-1 lead and cruised from there to an 8-1 win over the Saints. Two Knights (Oosterveld and Markowski) got their first career goals wearing the Green and Gold.

The Golden Knights will be well represented at Canadian National Team tryouts at the end of the month in Calgary. Nine total Knights were invited, 2 current (Elizabeth Giguere & Nicole Gosling) and 7 former player. Shea Tiley, Kassidy Sauve, Erin Ambrose, Renata Fast, Ella Shelton, Loren Gabel, and Jamie Lee Rattray represent Clarkson. The current players will not be able to attend due to travel restriction, but the honor is still on their resume.
