Knights host Quinnipiac with ECAC lead in reach

The Clarkson Golden Knights will host an important three game series with the Quinnipiac Bobcats at home this weekend.  The Knights are 3 points behind the Bobcats in the race for the ECAC Title and this will be the last regular season series between the team.   The games can be heard on 99.3 FM with Mike Vaillancourt or streamed on ESPN+.

The Golden Knights had a mixed trip to Hamden several weeks ago, winning a game in OT, losing a 2 goal lead and ultimately in OT on night 2 and then getting shut out 1-0 despite outshooting the Bobcats.  The Knights need to keep the nations top scorer, Odeen Tufto in check this weekend, he has 27 points on the year.  He had 5 assists in the 3 games in the series several weeks ago.

Clarkson is coming off a hard fought win at St. Lawrence last Sunday.  They fell behind in the first, but won the game behind goals from Zach Tsekos and Luke Mobley.  The Knights sit in 3rd place in the ECAC, but can gain a tie for the league lead with a regulation win tonight.
