Since leaving the friendly confines of Hantz Turf Field, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team has struggled on offense with just one goal in its last three games. Back at home on Tuesday night, the Golden Knights will be looking to rediscover their swagger when the squad takes on SUNY Canton.

The Series: Clarkson is 6-1 in seven all-time meetings against the Kangaroos, including four straight shutout victories. Last year, the Knights scored in the 89th minute on a scrum in front as James Homan's kick from just a few yards out proved to be the game-winner.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-3-0): In the last two games, the Green and Gold have come up on the short end of 1-0 decisions despite outshooting their opponents 30-11. Much like the last two contests in 2019, Clarkson has dominated the shot totals against SUNY Canton the last four years, 58-28. The Kangaroos have mustered just one shot on goal in the past two games against the Knights and trail in corner kick chances 18-4 in that time frame. Shayne O'Neill has scored twice and Brett Anderson accounts for a goal and an assist, but the fourth Canton goal was actually an own goal scored in a 1-0 win versus Bard College. Both of SUNY Canton's goalkeepers have played well and kept the Roos in games. Dawson Pellerin has played 355 minutes, allowing 1.01 goals per game with 17 saves and an .810 save percentage, while Tyler Peterson has allowed just one goal (0.40 goals against average) with 14 saves and a .933 save percentage in 225 minutes.
