Needing just one more win to clinch hosting rights for the first round of the Liberty League Playoffs, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team heads down Route 11 to face St. Lawrence University on Wednesday night.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: Though Clarkson is just 3-40 all-time against the Saints, the Golden Knights three wins have come in the last four years. Two years ago, the Green and Gold won in overtime at Canton, and last year the Knights won by three, 12-9.

Key Stats for Clarkson (9-6, 5-3 Liberty League): Senior Jaid Baytos enjoyed her best offensive game of the season last Saturday, scoring eight points on seven goals and an assist. She has produced similar results the last two times out against the Saints. In 2017, she scored six points, including the game-winning goal in overtime versus St. Lawrence, and last year she collected seven goals and an assist, taking over the game with four straight goals in the final 13 minutes. Baytos is second on the team in both goals (34) and points (40), trailing junior Aubrey Borgesi in goals scored (37) and freshman Sydney Roderick in points (61). Clarkson has five players who have recorded 30 or more points this year and has four players with 25 goals or more.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (4-10, 2-6 Liberty League): Kylie Murphy and Alexandra LaMotte have combined for 64 goals, with Murphy producing 46 points (31-15-46) and LaMotte notching 37 (33-4-37) thus far. That, however, is nearly have of the team's total offense as St. Lawrence has the second fewest goals per game in the Liberty League at 9.29 per contest. Isabel Silvia ranks first on the team in caused turnovers (23) and draw controls (40) while placing second in groundballs (32), trailing only the team's goalkeeper. Silvia has also produced 18 points (11-7-18) and Emma Owens has chipped in 15 (14-1-15).
