Celebrating Senior Day this weekend, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team could also be celebrating the clinching of a playoff spot with some help around the league and a sweep of Skidmore and Union at Hantz Turf Field.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series vs. Skidmore: The Thoroughbreds hold a significant edge in the all-time series with wins in 25 of the 30 all-time matchups, but the two teams have been virtually even over the past dozen years as Clarkson has gained all five of its victories against Skidmore since 2007.

The Series vs. Union: The Dutchwomen had dominated the all-time series against Clarkson up until last year when Clarkson finally broke through with its first win ever against Union, 18-10.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-6, 3-3 Liberty League): Junior Abby Collins is looking to join classmate Katie Sergeant as a member of Clarkson's 100-point club. Sergeant eclipsed the mark against Vassar earlier this year, while Collins is still three points shy of the total. In addition to her 25 points, Collins is second on the team in groundballs (26), caused turnovers (16) and draw controls (29). Senior Amanda Ellman leads the squad in the two former categories, having earned 27 groundballs and 17 caused turnovers, while junior Stephanie Scaia is tied for second with Collins in groundballs (26) and is third in caused turnovers (13). Clarkson causes more turnovers per game (11.31) than any other team in the Liberty League.

Key Stats for Skidmore (10-3, 6-1 Liberty League): Three-time, and soon-to-be four-time, Liberty League All-Star Cas Swajkowski leads the highest scoring offense in the conference. Swajkowski scores more than a goal and a half more per game (4.85) than any other player in the conference, having totaled 63 goals in 13 contests this year. Despite having recorded just six assists, she also leads the conference in points (5.31), about three-quarters of a point more than the next player. Swajkowski and teammate Emily Hirsch have combined for 140 draw controls, three more than all of their opponents combined. Not surprisingly, Skidmore leads the league in draw controls with 216.

Key Stats for Union (5-5, 2-4 Liberty League): The Dutchwomen's offense is fairly spread out among several players, though Lindsay Gerrato has emerged as the team's top scorer with 27 goals, including 16 tallies in conference play. She also ranks second in the league in draw controls per game (5.70). Hannah Rosenberger (19 points), Ramsey Walsh (17), Kellie Cronin (13), and Emma Lowery (13) also contribute to the team's scoring, with Cronin producing across the board with 24 groundballs, 9 caused turnovers and 10 draws. Bri Stout is the team's top defender with 22 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers.
